Students have stated to gather at the Raju Sculpture to lay siege the High Court, demanding the resignation of the pro-Awami League judges.
From there, they will take out a procession and gather front of the High Court building.
Students of Dhaka University and its adjoining educational institutions started gathering at Raju Sculpture on the Dhaka University campus from 10:30am on Wednesday.
Sarjis Alam, one of the coordinators of the anti-discrimination student movement, posted on Facebook calling for students to gather.
Earlier on Tuesday, Alam and Hasnat Abdullah called for a programme to siege the High Court.
Announcing the programme, Sarjis wrote in his post, “Wherever you are, come. The roots of the vultures must be uprooted. See you tomorrow on the streets.”
Another coordinator, Hasnat Abdullah, wrote, “How dare the Awami League, which has the blood of thousands of students and citizens on its hands, raise slogans in the name of murderer Hasina in the High Court premises within two months?”
