Launch Services On Chandpur-Dhaka Route Resume

Launch services on Chandpur-Dhaka route resumed morning on condition.

Chandpur launch ghat TI Md Mahtab confirmed the matter on Friday morning (October 25).

He said that all launches are not allowed to move. Only those launches that meet the conditions are plying the Dhaka-Chandpur route.

Regarding the conditions, he said the launches that have fitness and 65 feet in length; Only those are allowed to move. Small launches have not yet been allowed to ply.

Earlier, due to Cyclone Dana, the Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA) suspended launch services on various routes from Dhaka.
