Form Committee To Review Adani Power Deal Within A Month: HC

The High Court on Tuesday directed the formation of a committee within one month to review the power agreement with India's Adani Group. 

The court also instructed that a report on the matter be submitted within two months.

A bench consisting of Justice Farah Mahbub and Justice Debashish Roy Chowdhury passed the order following a hearing of a writ petition on the issue.

During the hearing, the court raised concerns about the electricity agreement with Adani Group and issued a rule questioning why the agreement between Bangladesh and Adani Power Plant should not be reconsidered.
