20 Injured As Pilgrim Bus Overturns In Rangamati

At least 20 people were injured when a bus carrying pilgrims overturned in the Munshi Abdur Rouf Chattar area of ​​Manikchhari in Sadar Upazila of Rangamati. 

Police rushed to the spot after receiving the news of the accident and rescued the injured and sent them to Rangamati General Hospital.

The accident occurred on Friday morning on the way from Rangunia to Rajbanvihar to attend a religious ceremony.

Passengers on the bus said that they were coming from Rangunia to Rangamati Rajbanvihar in a bus with 40 people to attend a religious ceremony. At that time, the bus lost control and overturned at a place called Manikchhari. Many were injured during this time.

Sadia Chowdhury, the on-duty doctor at Rangamati General Hospital, said that the injured have been treated. Of these, three who were seriously injured have been referred to Chattogram Medical College Hospital.
