Makeshift Special Court At Alia Madrasah Torched

Students of Government Madrasa-e-Alia have blocked the capital's Bakshibazar area and staged a protest to remove makeshift court from the madrasa ground.

Meanwhile, a report surfaced that a courtroom of the makeshift court was torched.

Sources said that the fire originated at the court room this morning (January 9). Later, fire service officials rushed to the spot and doused the blaze.

Lalbagh fire service’s senior station officer Mohammad Mostafizur Rahman told that, on information we rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control. All the chairs, and tables of the courtroom were burnt to ashes.

However, he didn’t mention the reasons behind the fire.
