Pensioners To Get Dearness Allowance

Pensioners will also receive a dearness allowance along with all government officials and employees.

In the next year's increment, dearness allowance will be added to pensioners’ basic', public administration ministry's senior secretary Dr Mokhlesur Rahman told a press briefing on Thursday (January 9).

He said that the dearness allowance will be implemented in this year's budget by June 30.

However, Mokhlesur did not specify the percentage. 

“The finance adviser or finance secretary would be better informed about the percentage,” he said.
