The Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) has stated that the Election Commission aims to create a fair electoral environment without involving politics. He mentioned that the Commission is preparing for the elections according to the timeframe set by the Chief Adviser.

On Sunday morning (January 19), while attending an event at the Election Commission office for the provision of equipment for voter list updating by UNDP, the CEC, A.M.M. Nasiruddin, shared this information.

The CEC mentioned, "We had requested UNDP's assistance for the voter list activities, and they have provided rapid support. We seek their cooperation throughout the entire electoral process. Like us, they are also eager to see a fair election."

UNDP's Resident Representative, Stefan Liller, stated that the collaboration will be determined through meetings with political parties and other stakeholders.

During the event, the Election Commission received 175 laptops, 200 scanners, and 4,300 bags for data collection at homes as part of the voter list updating process.
