Swecchasebak Dal Leader Shot Dead In N’ganj

Miscreants shot a local leader of Swechasebak Dal dead in Narayanganj's Fatulla on Friday (February 7).

The deceased was known as Mamun Hossain, 40, son of the late Saman Ari Bepari of the Purba Lalpur railway line area of Fatulla. He was a joint convener of the Thana Swechasebak Dal, in Fatulla.

Amjad, elder brother said Mamun was sleeping at home. He went to his business farm early morning. Meanwhile, miscreants shot him and fled the scene.

Later, he was taken to the hospital where the duty doctor declared him dead.

Fatulla Model Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI) Kamal Mia said the deceased Mamun Hossain was a brick, sand and cement trader. He was present while loading and unloading goods on Thursday night in front of his shop and returned home. He was later called at 4:30 am on Friday and shot.
