3 Killed In Mymensingh Road Crash

Three people have been killed and two others injured after a truck hit an autorickshaw in Mymensingh’s Phulpur upazila.

The incident occurred at around 9:30am today (March 10) on Phulpur-Sherpur Road’s Chaorabari.

Police identified the deceased as Md Hasad, 16, son of Habiz Mia of Phulpur’s Hatpagla village; Md Ashik Mia, 20, son of Biaz Uddin of Sherpur’s Nakla upazila; and Abul Kashem, 50, hailing from Narsingdi’s Raipura upazila.

They were killed on the spot when the truck hit the Sherpur-bound autorickshaw head-on. The injured are being treated at the Phulpur Upazila Health Complex.

Phulpur police’s in-charge Abdul Hadi said the bodies have been kept at the police station.

The truck driver could not be apprehended.
