Police have been able to arrest members of another child pornography ring since 2014 And the investigators have got terrible information from that cycle. The net of this cycle is spread beyond the country.

Abdullah Al Mahmud, Borhan Uddin and Avi Hossain are the three students of the private university. The DMP's Counter-Terrorism and Transnational Crime Unit (CTTC) detained them on October 15 after an eight-month search. All three have already made confessional statements in court about their crimes. According to the CTTC, they have recovered files and pictures from Borhan's computer. Tutorials on how the cycle traps children in online pornography have also been found on their computers.

The CTTC found the ring while investigating a complaint received from outside the country in February. Among the porn pictures, they recovered were pictures of the complainant. At one point, they took a pornographic photo of themselves using WhatsApp and used it as a 'business'.

CTTC Assistant Commissioner of Police Ishtiaq Ahmed said that since 2015, they have blackmailed the child and forced him to take many pictures. At one point, they shared the photo with her parents via Instagram. They also posted pictures to several client groups on Instagram.

He added that 30 GB of pornographic content was recovered from them. They have storage in cloud and drop box. And 45 folders with different names were found in the computer. It has pictures of USA, UK, Australia and Bangladeshi girls as victims and the manual that has been found in them has 15 strategies to trap girls.

"We are convinced that many more such child pornography rings are active in Dhaka," he said adding ''We have received some more complaints We have also come to know their payment method. They use cryptocurrencies. "

This group has been involved in this crime since 2015. He said that the amount of money they have earned will also come out in the investigation.

"Child pornography is no longer on the Surface Web," said Tanvir Hassan Zoha, a cybersecurity analyst. Its market is 6 on the Dark Web. There is a Deep and Dark Web Monitoring Platform to monitor it. But there is no such platform in Bangladesh. As a result, it cannot be monitored directly from here. Some cycles are sometimes identified based on investigations or complaints."

However, he said, based on general observations, "there are some groups involved in child pornography in the name of doing various things with children. The illicit market for child pornography is now the most lucrative. "

According to him, "a thorough investigation can also identify the international cycle associated with the domestic cycle."

However, Ishtiaq Ahmed said, "CTTC is now capable of dark web monitoring. Training has also been given in this regard. "

Crime analysts say police action alone is not enough to curb cybercrime. Everyone including parents should be aware of this. ''Children from indigent families are targeted for making direct porn. strict surveillance is alos needed'' they further said. Ishtiaq Ahmed said the same thing. According to him, parents should warn their children to use the device and they should be careful too. Because children are now using all kinds of online devices

In 2014, CID 7 arrested another similar gang in Dhaka. That group used to come with children and make porn directly. An alleged child writer named Tipu Kibria and his three accomplices were then arrested. They used to take children to a studio in Khilgaon and make pornography. The buyers of these pictures are from Germany and Switzerland. Those accused are now in jail.
