Covid Vaccine: How Students Who Study Abroad Get Vaccinated

Those who are going to study abroad or students studying abroad due to the epidemic who are staying in Bangladesh have the opportunity to get vaccinated against coronavirus.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh said in a notification that they have started accepting applications in this regard from 13 July (Yesterday). 

Students studying abroad have been protesting recently demanding vaccinations.

In such a context, the decision regarding the students was taken after the commencement of the Gantika program on Tuesday.

However, students will not be able to apply for a direct ticker on the security app first. Before that, they have to make an application to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Steps to follow to get vaccinated:

1. Those who want to be vaccinated should scan the required documents such as-- passport, visa, admission confirmation document of foreign educational institution, certificate of student proof, student ID, etc., and send it to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by 28th July. In the subject line or address of the email, write "Application for covid19 vaccination for students studying abroad (passport number)". Email address-- [email protected]

2. Applicants must also fill out a Google Form. The form can be found by clicking on this link.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, if the application is correct and no information is incorrect, then three days after the application can go to the secure portal to register for the vaccine.
