Bangladeshis Allowed to Travel All Over Saudi Arabia with Umrah Visa

From now on, Bangladeshi pilgrims like citizens of other countries will be able to travel all over Saudi Arabia with Umrah visas. In addition, the visa period for Umrah pilgrims has been extended from one month to three months.

Saudi Ambassador to Bangladesh Issa bin Youssef Al-Dahilan made the announcement at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Thursday (June 9th).

Hajj pilgrims will now be able to apply for Umrah visa directly online and get it within a day, the ambassador added.

Issa bin Youssef Al-Dahilan added, "Bangladesh is the only country after Kuwait to have been given the opportunity to apply for Umrah visas online. Pilgrims will receive a visa within 24 hours of applying. This visa will be valid for 3 months. Pilgrims can travel all over Saudi Arabia with this visa."

Earlier, on June 2, Hajj and Umrah Minister Tawfiq Al Rabiah said the Saudi government would issue a visa within 24 hours of applying for Umrah.
