Daraz Announced Winners of Make a Wish Campaign

Daraz Bangladesh (daraz.com.bd), a concern of Alibaba Group and the country's largest online marketplace, has organized a special campaign named "Make a Wish" for the customers on the occasion of the upcoming event "Eleven Eleven" (11.11).

This special event started from October 23rd where the company has fulfilled the wishes of lucky customers through Facebook. On the occasion of the 11.11 campaign, Daraz came up with many attractive offers and deals for the customers including this notable one, with a motto” Make a Wish, Daraz Will Make It Happen".

Through this event, Daraz has received a lot of wishes from their customers out of which 3 significant wishes were: - Buying food for 11 helpless families for TK. 1,111 which was wished by Emdadul Haque Ripon (a student by profession and collection point agent), Tushar Majumdar of Barisal had a dream of visiting St. Martin's Island, a paradise of natural beauty, and Mohammad Monir Uddin (currently had been employed as a junior associate at Daraz) expressed his desire for a job at Daraz to run a dignified and prosperous life. This attractive campaign is still ongoing and thus customers can participate in this "Make a Wish,'' campaign.

Daraz, South Asia’s leading online shopping platform, is all set to launch its annual 11.11 sale for the third year in a row and bring the largest shopping festival in the world to our five South Asian markets including Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Myanmar. Invented by Alibaba CEO Daniel Zhang, 11.11 has evolved from a China-only “singles day sale” to now the largest “Global Shopping Festival” celebrated in many countries across the world and surpassing Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Year-End campaigns combined in sales volume.

A total of 1800 global and domestic brands and more than 150,0000 registered sellers participated in the campaign from these 5 countries.  Users can avail of huge discounts, play the one- taka game and take part in Mission 11.11 to win exciting prizes. 

11.11 comes at a time when most economies and its people are facing significant challenges. The 11.11 Shopping Festival not only offers our sellers the chance to make a recovery and boost their sales, but also allows those customers affected by the pandemic the most a chance to get their necessities and favorite products at the lowest prices.
