No Time to Be Extended for Paying Tax

National Board of Revenue (NBR) Chairman Abu Hena Md Rahmatul Muneem said that the payment of income tax will not be deferred this year, reports media. 

The last date of submission of the return is 30 November. 

He disclosed the matter at a press conference at 10 am on Sunday.

The people who are unable to pay their income tax returns on time can apply to the concerned tax office.

Such taxpayers will be granted time if reasons for the delay are valid, he said.
