NRBC Bank Launches Its Banking Services at BSMRAU, Gazipur

With state-of-the-art modern Banking facilities NRB Commercial Bank Limited launched its BSMRAU Sub-branch at Gazipur Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University (BSMRAU) premises on Tuesday.

Vice Chancellor of BSMRAU Professor Dr. Giashuddin Miah inaugurated the sub-branch as Chief Guest. Chairman of NRBC Bank S M Parvez Tamal presided over the ceremony. 

Treasurer of BSMRAU Professor  Tofayel Ahamed, President of Teachers Association of BSMRAU  Dr. Md. Tofazzal Islam, General Secretary of Teachers Association of BSMRAU Dr. Arifur Rahman Khan , Registrar Md. Shirajul Islam Talukder were present on the occasion. 

Bank’s Chairman Parvez Tamal said, NRBC Bank is giving priority to cottage, micro and small scale industries and agriculture sector in remote areas of the country. To reach out to remote areas, technology has moved away from the traditional branch-based banking concept and introduced technology-based sub-branch services. The main goal of the bank is to launch fully digitalized online services from offline. This will make it easier to ensure corporate good governance and compliance of the bank, he added.

Head of Support Services and Branches Division Major (Retd) Parvez Hossain, Gazipur Chowrashta Branch Manager Md. Shohidul Islam , In-charge of BSMRAU Sub-branch Md. Rafikul Islam and distinguished clients, businessmen, local elites were also present on the occasion. During the ceremony, a Munajat was held seeking divine blessings of the Almighty for the welfare, progress and prosperity of the Bank.
