Banks Remain Close Next Sunday

Banks will remain close next Sunday (August 8th) amid government lockdown as coronavirus infections continue to rise in the country.

However, the bank will be open on August 9 and 10 and transactions will be continued from 10 am to 3 pm. The bank will be open for other activities till 4.30 pm.

Bangladesh Bank has issued a new notification in this regard on Thursday (August 5).

It is said that banking activities can be conducted with strictly limited number of manpower in compliance with hygiene rules including wearing of masks.
