Standard Bank Hosts Luncheon for Underprivileged Childs on Sheikh Russel's Birthday

On the 56th birth anniversary of Shahid Sheikh Russel, the youngest son of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman; Standard Bank Limited organized a luncheon and doa mahfil for the underprivileged children.

The luncheon was organized for all the children living in Sir Salimullah Muslim Orphanage, Chhotomony Shishu Nibash Orphanage and Day Care & Baby Mess in the capital on the occasion of Sheikh Russel's birthday on 18 October 2021.

Mohammad Rafiqul Islam, Deputy Managing Director & COO of Standard Bank was present among the children at the event.

In the doa mahfil held before the start of the luncheon, prayers were offered for the forgiveness of Sheikh Russell's disembodied soul in the court of Almighty Allah and prayers were offered for the radiant conviction of Sheikh Russel in the hearts of all children to lead the state in the days to come.

Among others, Sohel A Rahmani, Head of BC & CA Division, Mejba Uddin Ahmed, Public Relations Officer of Standard Bank and teachers of the three orphanages were also present at the moment.
