The world's leading ride sharing firm Uber has rolled out the Bangla version of the Drivers and Riders app in Bangladesh.
Available on Android OS, the latest language setting will support drivers with a smooth navigation process and render the ride booking process seamless for passengers, the company said in a statement issued today (Wednesday).
Drivers can alter the language to 'Bangla' by simply changing the 'User Language' settings in their Uber app.
Riders can switch to the Bangla version of the Uber app by modifying their smartphone's language settings from 'English' to 'Bangla.'
Talking about the latest language launch, Ratul Ghosh, Head of Bangladesh & East India, Uber India SA, said, "At Uber, we believe that technology provides us with an amazing ability to develop our service and provide customized solutions to unique needs Drivers are at the core of Uber, and we are continuously communicating with them."
Their feedback underscored the need for the local language for a seamless app experience.
“We are delighted to roll the Bangla version of the app in Bangladesh, and hope our riders and driver partners find it useful," Mr Ghosh added.
