Govt Allows Export-Oriented Factories to Run from Aug 1

Export-oriented manufacturing factories got the government nod to resume operations from August 1 amid the ongoing lockdown.

The Cabinet Division on Friday issued a notification to this effect.

The government enforced strict lockdown from July 23 to check Covid-19 infection, which rose sharply in recent weeks.
