Bangladesh's foreign currency reserves have reached $355.9 million in the last 15 days. According to the IMF's accounting methodology BPM6, the updated reserve amount stands at $1,873.597 billion. If this trend continues, it is expected that the reserve amount will reach $20 billion within the next one and a half months.

After Bangladesh paid two months of dues to the Asian Clearing Union (ACU), its foreign exchange reserves fell below $19 billion in mid-November. Finally, the reserves stood at $1,843.7 million. However as expatriate income continues to arrive in the country, foreign exchange reserves have started increasing again.

According to the latest update, the reserves have increased to $1,873.597 billion as of November 28.

At the same time, the total reserves, including various foreign exchange funds, have reached $2,445.621 billion. However, the net reserves are still below $14 billion.
