Biggest-Ever Circular for Appointing Primary School Teachers Published

On Monday, the circular for recruitment was published for 32,577 assistant teachers in government primary schools.

The Department of Primary Education (DPE) has confirmed the publication of a circular, says media report.

Akram-Al-Hossain, Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, confirmed that a total of 25,630 assistant teachers will be recruited for pre-primary education and 6,947 assistant primary education teachers.

Sources said this is the largest-ever circular in primary school recruitment history. For the newly created posts and vacant posts, some 32,577 assistant teachers will be appointed.

According to the new recruitment policy, for the first time, women candidates will not be able to apply without graduation. Eligibility to apply for male candidates will be the same as before.

DPE sources said four daily newspapers will publish the circular on Tuesday (tomorrow). The circular is now available on the website: http://dpe.teletalk.com.bd.
