DU Cancels Autumn, Winter Vacations

The Dhaka University administration have postponed the autumn and winter vacations for the 2021-2022 academic year.

The decision was taken to avoid the imminent session congestion caused by the long-term closure imposed by the Coronavirus pandemic, said a press release.

However, the students will get holidays from 12-15 October 2021 for Durga Puja and 19 October for Lakshmi Puja. Besides, holydays will be observed on December 14, December 16, and December 25 on the occasion of Martyred Intellectuals Day, Independence Day and Christmas respectively.
