Admission Fair Started at Eastern University

A 15-day long Admission Fair for Fall Semester 2021 started on Saturday 9th October 2021 at Eastern University (EU). The Admission Department of the university organized the fair at their campus of Ashulia, Birulia, Savar. Chairman of Board of Trustees & Vice-chancellor of Eastern University Professor Dr Shahid Akhtar Hossain inaugurated the fair. The inauguration ceremony was started at 11:00 AM.

The Fair is basically to attract the students who have been seeking admission in different undergraduate and postgraduate programs offered by the university.

Considering the Pandemic situation, the Admission Fair Offers a 50% waiver on the admission fees. The EU authority offered this waiver only to provide a scope for the poor, underprivileged and bright students so that they can get higher education. The fair started in two venues. One is the Ashuliya campus, another is in Dhanmondi: Level-4, House-3, Road-3. The Fair will continue till 23rd October 2021.

Besides the guests, Dean of Faculty of Engineering and Technology and Advisor of Admission Office Professor Dr Mahfuzur Rahman, Registrar Abul Basher Khan, Teachers & Officials of Eastern University were present in the program.
