As coronavirus infection decreases, stratified learning
knowledge on a short syllabus will be verified by annual examinations from
first to fourth grade.
This information is available from the Directorate of Primary
Education (DPE).
Elementary schools typically take three exams a year, the
department said. The first periodical is held between April and May, the second
periodical in August, the fifth class final examination in November and the
annual examination at other levels.
However, this year, the fifth class final examination (PEC) and
ibtedayi examination in government primary schools may be canceled.
In this regard, Director General of the Directorate of Primary
Education Alamgir Muhammad Munsurul Alam said, at present students will be
taught a short syllabus to acquire class-based learning knowledge. We will take
annual exams in December to make sure students are able to learn by level.
However, field officers and teachers have not yet been instructed to conduct
annual examinations. This instruction will be sent in a few days. Everything
will depend on the situation, including the exams.
