As a result of the special public notification
for the recruitment of more than 15,000 teachers in various private educational
institutions and 11,769 candidates have been selected for the second phase
recommendation in the posts which did not join the third public notification.
Of these, 4,752 are being recommended for
appointment as teachers in a special public notification. And in the posts
which did not join the third mass notification, 7,017 candidates are getting
the recommendation for the second phase. Final recruitment of candidates will be
recommended after police verification.
Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni made the remarks
at a press conference held in the Education Ministry's conference room at the
Secretariat on Sunday (June 5).
Although there was a plan of preliminary
recommendation for the recruitment of candidates for a total of 22,000 teacher
posts, NTRCA did not receive applications for all the posts in the special
public notification. The Minister said that 8 thousand 359 applications have
been received in this public notification. Out of this, 4,752 people are
getting recruitment recommendations on the basis of merit and demand. Of these,
4,185 posts are for MPO and 567 posts are for non-MPO. Of the candidates
selected for the new recruitment recommendation, 2,504 are being recruited in
general stream schools and colleges and 2,248 in madrasas and technical educational
institutions.
The minister further said that it is being
recommended to appoint the next candidates who have applied for 7,017 posts who
did not join the third public notification. There are 6,205 MPOs and 812
non-MPOs in these posts. Of the candidates selected for the second phase
recommendation, 4,539 are being recommended for recruitment in general schools
and colleges and 2,478 for madrasas and technical education institutions. Among
the candidates selected for the total recruitment recommendation, 7,704 are
males and 4,065 are females.
