49,194 Pass MBBS Admission Test

A total of 49,194 students passed the MBBS admission test for the academic year 2022-2023 with 35.34 percent pass rate, reports BSS.

"As many as 1,35,813 examinees appeared in the MBBS admission test. Of them, 49,194 students passed in the examination," Health Minister Zahid Maleque announced the results at a press conference at the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) today.

The highest mark among male candidates was 94.25 while it was 88.00 among the female candidates, he said, adding the results have been uploaded to the websites of the DGHS, medical education directorate and Teletalk websites.

Among 49,194 students, who passed in the MBBS admission test, 4,350 examinees will be selected for 37 medical colleges in the country while 6,772 will be selected for 71 private medical colleges.
