SSC, Equivalent Exam Results To Be Published Today

The results of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations for 2024 are scheduled to be published today (May 12, 2024). The summary and statistics of this year’s SSC, equivalent exams will be handed over to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Ganabhaban in the morning, said a press release issued from the Ministry of Education earlier.

Education Minister Mohibul Hassan Chowdhury Nowfel is scheduled to hold a press conference at the Secretariat around 12:30 pm in this regard, the release added.

This year, SSC and its equivalent examinations began across the country on February 15. The written exams ended on March 12 and the practical exams concluded on March 20.

A total of 20,24,192 students appeared for the SSC, equivalent examinations under 11 education boards.

The government will publish the results of the SSC and equivalent exams of 2024 today. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will participate in the SSC and equivalent examination result release and statistics handing over ceremony in the morning.

The SSC and equivalent exams started on February 15 and ended on March 12. The results are usually published within 60 days of the completion of the examinations. According to the custom, the education minister along with the education board chairmen will hand over the copy of the result to the prime minister on the morning of the result announcement. At this time, the Prime Minister gave a summary of the results. Later, the education minister held a press conference and gave detailed information about the results.

How To Get Your SSC Result

The candidates can get their results online or through SMS after 11:00 am.

To get the results under general boards through SMS, candidates have to type SSC, the first three letters of the board name, followed by the candidate's roll number and the year, and send the message to 16222.

For example, a candidate who sat for the exams under the Dhaka board this year, with a roll number of "123456" will have to send: SSC(space)Dha(space)123456(space)2024 and send the SMS to 16222.

Alternatively, they can also get results from http://www.educationboardresults.gov.bd, entering their roll and registration numbers.

Educational institutions can also download the result sheet from https://dhakaeducationboard.gov.bd by putting in the EIIN number of the institution, said a notification issued by Dhaka education board._UNB
