HSC Exams Postponed In Sylhet Division

The authorities have postponed Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and other equivalent examinations in Sylhet division until 8 July due to ongoing flood and heavy rains. 

This decision was taken at the meeting of the Ministry of Education on Thursday (June 20).

Chief of the Bangladesh inter-education board coordination committee and chairman of Dhaka education board Professor Tapan Kumar Sarkar confirmed the matter to the media.

Professor Tapan Kumar said that the flooding is going on in different districts of Sylhet division. These educational institutions are being used as shelters. Students are not in a condition to participate in the exam. Exams have been postponed till July 8 considering the overall situation.
