Due to the violence across the country centered around the quota reform movement, four more HSC examinations have been postponed due to the safety of the students. The exams were scheduled to be held on July 28, 29, 31 and August 1. With this, 8 exams of the ongoing HSC exam have been suspended.
The President of Inter-Education Board Coordinating Committee and Chairman of Dhaka Education Board Professor Tapan Kumar Sarkar gave this information on Thursday (July 25) afternoon.
He told the media that this decision has been taken considering the security of the examinees in the prevailing situation of the country.
Before the postponement of four new exams, Tapan Kumar Sarkar said that these exams will be held after August 11. However, the date has not been announced.
It should be noted that the Inter Education Board Coordinating Committee postponed the HSC examination on July 18, then on July 21, 23 and 25, considering the safety of the students due to the quota reform.
