Applications Open For 2025 Cadet College Admission Test

The Cadet College, a residential educational institution under the direct supervision of the Adjutant General Branch of the Bangladesh Army, operates under the Ministry of Defence. Apart from academics, it helps in developing cadets into responsible citizens and confident individuals through co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. Applications are now open for the Cadet College admission test for 2025.

Currently, there are 12 Cadet Colleges in Bangladesh. Nine are for boys and three for girls, where students will be admitted. Admissions are conducted in the 7th grade, and the admission test is based on the 6th grade curriculum. The admission process includes written, oral, and medical examinations.

Eligibility for Applicants:

- Nationality: Applicants must be Bangladeshi citizens.

- Educational Qualification: Applicants must have passed the 6th grade or an equivalent examination.

- Age: The applicant must be at most 13 years and 6 months old as of January 1, 2025.

- Physical Fitness: The applicant must meet the following physical requirements:

- Height: Minimum of 4 feet 8 inches (applicable to both boys and girls).

- Health: The applicant must be physically and mentally healthy.

Application Schedule:

Applications must be submitted online through the websites: www.cadetcollege.army.mil.bd or https://www.cadetcollegeadmission.army.mil.bd. The deadline for applications is 5 PM on December 15, 2024.

Required Documents for Form Submission:

- Certified copy of the 5th grade annual exam certificate (not mandatory for English medium applicants).

- Certified copy of the Birth Registration Certificate.

- Certificate from the headmaster of the current school confirming the applicant has passed the 6th or equivalent exam (in Bangla/English medium or madrasa).

- Parent/guardian’s monthly income certificate.

- Certified copies of both father’s and mother’s National ID cards.

Application Deadline:

The application period ends at 5 PM on December 15, 2024.

Written Exam Date:

The written exam will take place on Saturday, January 4, 2025, from 10 AM to 1 PM.

Syllabus for Admission Test:

The admission test will be based on the National Curriculum and Textbook Board’s (NCTB) 6th grade syllabus.

Subjects and Marks for Admission Test:

The total marks for the admission test are 300:

- Mathematics: 100

- English: 100

- Bengali: 60
