Primary Teacher Recruitment Test in 5 Steps in April

The written test for Government Primary School Assistant Teacher Recruitment-2020 will be held on April 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29, according to the Directorate of Primary Education.

It has been decided that the examination will be held centrally at different centers of Dhaka from 10 am / 3 pm on the mentioned date.

A letter signed by the Additional Director General of the department Sohail Ahmed on March 10 has been sent to various educational institutions requesting for their full cooperation in taking the written test.

It has been asked in a letter by March 15 to know the maximum number of seats that can be arranged in the concerned institutions.

Earlier, the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education decided to recruit the candidates who passed the recruitment test in April and in July.

It was informed in the meeting on March 10 that the Directorate of Primary Education has issued a notification on October 20, 2020 for the recruitment of 32,577 vacant posts of Assistant Teachers. But as for Coronavirus pandemic, it was not possible to take the recruitment test. More than 10,000 posts of assistant teachers have already fallen vacant due to retirement. This has led to shortage of teachers in schools, which is hampering the teaching activities.

In order to solve this problem, the ministry has decided to appoint about 45,000 assistant teachers by combining the vacancies in the previous notification and the vacancies after the notification.
