'Dhaka Dream' To Be Released after 5 Years

The trailer of the full-length film 'Dhaka Dream' directed by Prasoon Rahman was released last Thursday (October 8) night. The producer said that the movie will be released on October 22.

Prasoon said it is a free-flowing film about the dreams and dream-breaking of marginalized people who have moved to the city in search of a better life.

The film was cleared by the Bangladesh Film Censor Board in March this year.

It stars Fazlur Rahman Babu, Shahadat Hossain, Munira Mithu, Abdullah Rana, Shahriar Ferdous Sajib, Anwar Hossain Chowdhury, Jayita Mahlanbish, Purnima Brishti, Nairuz Sifat, Saima Nira, Saika Ahmed, Sujat Shimul, Iqbal Hossain, Arash Khan. , Fazlul Haque, Akhter Hossain, Jamal Raja, RA Rahul, Faruk Ahmed, Shariful Azam Pintu, SM Mohsin, Mahbubur Rahman, Khorshed Alam, Trisha Roy, Emil, Rana and Tashfi and many more.

The work of this film started in 2016 with the recording of a song by the late Bari Siddiqui. Apart from giving voice to the title song, Kumar Biswajit has also directed the music of the film. Besides, Mumtaz has sung a special song in the film.

'Dhaka Dream' was complicated with the release. Though the film was supposed to be released in 2020, it was delayed due to coronavirus.
