Tahsan to File A Defamation Suit

A case has been registered against nine persons including actor Tahsan Khan, Rafiath Rashid Mithila and Shabnam Faria for allegedly collaborating in the activities of e-commerce company Evaly. DMP's Deputy Commissioner (DC) Sajjadur Rahman said the accused could be arrested at any time in the interest of investigating the case.

On December 4, a customer of Evaly named Saad Sam Rahman filed a case at Dhanmondi Police Station in the capital. Actor Tahsan Khan, who is accused in the case, is currently in the United States to attend several concerts.

When contacted on WhatsApp, Tahsan said he had heard about the case and had spoken to a lawyer about it.

Tahsan said, "A ambassador will never take the overall responsibility of the organization. Millions of organizations around the world have millions of brand ambassadors. They are not sitting with all the responsibilities of those companies. They move from the company when sees problems. Those who are in charge of the campaign cannot be criminals in any way."

Tahsan said, "I was approached in January of the year before I signed the contract. As I was denying, they told me, ‘We are with the Bangladesh Cricket Board. We are with RAB's film operation Sundarbans. We’ve got the ICT award ... so why are you denying it? ’I finally agreed. But I did not act according to that agreement. Before that, I terminated the contract in May. '

"I was supposed to advertise as per the agreement," he added. But I did not advertise. I have received many complaints by doing two live before, people close to me have complained. As a result, it did not move forward. I have canceled the contract."

Tahsan said he would file a defamation suit, saying "I have suffered emotionally and financially for the last seven months. And I was surprised to see some flashy headlines. The case was filed on December 4. Why was this information released on Thursday night? I don't know if there is any motive behind it."
