9 Best New Series on Netflix in November 2022

Blockbuster (Season 1)

Once upon a time, Blockbuster video was very popular in towns and villages. However, in the course of time, it disappeared. A little firm called Netflix served as a catalyst. There is currently only one remaining Blockbuster video store in the nation.

Blockbuster is a comedy about what it takes to keep that one final store open, and it was created by Vanessa Ramos, who is best known for writing for Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Superstore, and Crashing. Randall Park and Melissa Fumero are starring the show. The other major casts include Tyler Alvarez, J.B. Smoove, and Olga Merediz.

A 5-year time jump happened during some turbulence mid-flight in the bizarre story Manifest. When a flight from Jamaica lands in New York, the passengers are shocked to hear they have been lost and assumed dead for five years. They all bond deeply as they are forced to witness how their loved ones have continued living their lives after believing them dead, and they do their best to understand what went wrong.

Before Netflix saved it for one final 2-part season, the sitcom had three successful seasons on NBC. Volume 2 will be released after Volume 1, which consists of 10 episodes.

The COVID-19 epidemic sparked fresh interest in Manifest, despite the fact that NBC had already cancelled the show after three seasons. The sitcom was renewed by Netflix for a fourth and final season, which premieres in November, based on its impressive streaming figures.

Two years have passed after Season 3's finale. The survivors of Flight 828 will receive a lot of attention in this season as their dreaded Death Date draws near and they are left to fend for themselves.

The Crown (Season 5)

November 7 | Peter Morgan

Cast: Imelda Staunton, Jonathan Pryce, Lesley Manville, Dominic West, Elizabeth Debicki

The Crown is back for its eagerly anticipated fifth season. The Crown’s Season 5 will be more crucial than earlier seasons. In the final two seasons of The Crown Netflix series, Imelda Staunton stars the role of the late Queen Elizabeth II and the part of Prince Philip will be portrayed by Jonathan Pryce. In this season the plot will pick up, after the on-screen wedding of Charles (Dominic West) and Diana (Elizabeth Debicki).

This season has generated some criticism, as it is will be aired following the recent passing of the real-life Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip. The turbulent relationship and divorce of Charles and Diana in the 1990s will be portrayed throughout this season.

Highlights of The Crown Season 5 include Camilla and Charles getting into another royal scandal, Princess Diana getting ready for vengeance, and Imelda Staunton taking over as the next monarch after Claire Foy and Olivia Colman.

Staunton's uncanny accent will prove that she is made for the part. Although the royal drama's fifth season may be upsetting some people, viewers will undoubtedly tune in to make it the most popular show on Netflix in November.

Zac Efron (Season 2 - Down Under)

November 11

Cast: Zac Efron

Down to Earth's second season will take the viewers to Australia. Zac Efron travels around the globe for this travel documentary series to see how other nations and towns use sustainable and green energy techniques.

Some reviews of the show claim that Zac Efron and his friend Darin Olein promoted dubious science in a few of the episodes. However, Efron is so endearing that he is able to win over locals with ease and shows real interest in picking up the language.

The series offers an intriguing look at how different nations manage their food and energy supply. Efron appears to be open to trying everything and fits in just about anywhere on earth, making him the ideal host for a travel program.

1899 (Season 1)

November 17 | Jantje Friese & Baran bo Odar

Jantje Friese and Baran bo Odar, the makers of the popular 2018 television program ‘Dark’ have brought a new horror mystery called 1899. The setting of 1899 is a ship sailing from London to New York.

The ship's journey turns into a nightmare when it comes into contact with another ship. Maura Franklin, played by Emily Beecham, guides this immigrant group through a violent puzzle on the open seas. In the first season of the show Dead to Me, Jen (Christina Applegate) and Judy (Linda Cardellini), who meet in a grief support group, become friends. Jen is lamenting the loss of her husband who was murdered in a hit-and-run accident. Jen was totally unaware that Judy was the one who hit her partner and is lying about his passing. The two manage to forge an unmistakable, odd, and wonderful connection.

In their final season together, Jen and Judy struggle to get past their turbulent friendship. Jen and Judy made up after Jen (literally) got away with murder but received a shocking pardon from Detective Perez (Diana-Maria Riva).

The two were cheerfully driving Charlie's new automobile home when drunk Ben T-Boned them in an intersection (James Marsden). They appear to have survived the collision, but what comes next? In this final season, there are a ton of unanswered questions. Even though Jen and Judy are far from ideal, they make likable heroes for this exhilarating journey, and it will be sad to see it come to a conclusion.

In the Emmy Award-winning series' second season, the two were involved in a car accident that Ben had caused, and Charlie might have discovered Judy's complicity in his father's hit-and-run killing.

This November, Dead to Me's concluding season will pick up where Season 2 left off. Though it doesn't appear like everyone will have a happy ending, hopefully, the third season will finish up these storylines.

Wednesday (Season 1)

November 23 | Alfred Gough, Miles Millar, and Tim Burton

Cast: Jenna Ortega, Luis Guzmán, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Fred Armisen, Christina Ricci

In November, Netflix will release a brand-new version of The Addams Family. The new show is Wednesday. This time, the narration is from the point of view of Wednesday (Jenna Ortega), the adolescent daughter of Morticia (Catherine Zeta-Jones) and Gomez (Luis Guzmán), as she navigates adolescent turmoil at Nevermore Academy.

The role of Fester will be portrayed by Fred Armisen, and even the original Wednesday, Christina Ricci, will make an appearance as a guest star. Eight episodes make up this first season, four of which were directed by Tim Burton.

In this show, the young gothic girl is a high school student at Nevermore Academy in the new Netflix series Wednesday, where she makes new connections with her peers. She has to learn how to control her psychic skills, stop a killing spree in the community, and solve a mystical mystery that happened 25 years ago in addition to trying to be a normal adolescent.

Jenny Ortega has demonstrated in the clip that she perfectly captures the Wednesday persona and will be regarded as one of the best interpretations of the legendary character.

Warrior Nun (Season 2)

November 10 | Simon Barry

Cast: Lorena Andrea, Alba Baptista, Kristina Tonteri-Young, Toya Turner, Tristán Ulloa, Thekla Reuten.

After a dramatic first season finale, Warrior Nun is back for a second season on Netflix. As Ava continues to battle against Adriel and his demonic abilities, this season is anticipated to reveal all the truths that the first season was keeping hidden.

Ava and the others must give The Order of the Cruciform Sword a new purpose after discovering in the first season that it was founded on a falsehood. As she gets stronger, more secrets will come out.

The Great British Baking Show (Season 5)

November 18 | Andy Devonshire and Scott Tankard

Cast: Noel Fielding, Paul Hollywood, Matt Lucas, and Prue Leith

The Great British Baking Show was certain to draw criticism at some point. The show isn't as harmless as it seems with a judge like Paul Hollywood on it. No one is abandoning the very hot baking tent, however, even after an offensive "Mexican Week" episode aired during the current Season 13 (as reported by Entertainment Weekly).

The series continues to draw viewers who want to see more baking mishaps and holiday-themed tragedies. Even though The Great British Baking Show: Holidays is only a two-episode special, Paul and Prue Leith are here to help you celebrate the holidays early.

Bottom Line

The above-mentioned 9 upcoming Netflix shows in November will entertain viewers across the world. The admirers of old shows like Manifest, Dead to Me, The Crown, Zac Efron, Warrior Nun, and The Great British Baking Show are eagerly waiting to see the happenings of the upcoming season. On the other hand, new seasons like Blockbuster, 1899, and Wednesday are expected to win the hearts of Netflix users._Agencies
