Nachiketa Enchanted Dhaka Crowd With Magical Performance

Nachiketa Chakraborty continues to sing one song after another, sometimes intoxicating with the magic of words. At the end of the song, there was a standing ovation from the audience. Such a scene unfolded in evening.

On Friday (November 10) night, this artist of the 'Jibonmukhi' genre of Bengali music graced the stage of the Krishibid Institution Auditorium.

Musician Joy Shahriar performed in the first part of the concert. And in the second part, Nachiketa, who graced the stage, and his music team, Arghya Kamal, also performed songs.

Starting with 'Tomake Ashtei Hobe', Joy sang a number of songs including 'Amito Amon E', 'Ami Nei' one by one.

Nachiketa started singing at 8:30 pm, the conversation went on between the songs. This artist ended the performance with the song 'Neelanjana' at 10 pm.

Nachiketa said, “I started in 1993, it has been 30 years. A little while ago, someone was asking - has my wish been fulfilled or not? I think I got it all."

Expressing frustration with the education system, Nachiketa said, “Mothers give their children school tiffin and say, 'Eat alone, don't give it to anyone'; "Don't do this, don't do that". If the country was taken the way mothers stick to their children, then the country would have changed. I am very angry with this education system.

As he speaks, Nachiketa sings, 'Ami Bhoboghurei Hobo Etai Amar Ambition'.

The audience clamored for the song of the movie. Nachiketa said, “Cinema songs are formal songs. I don't really like singing on stage."

Nachiketa sings like him. As he sings a new song, he sings, 'Hoyto Tomar E Jonne Nemechi Jonaronne'.

Joy Shahriar and Nachiketa sang in duet "Bhebe Dekhecho Ki".

Nachiketa's team consisted of Prajenjit on tabla, Rupak on guitar and Arghya Kamal on keyboard.

For one and a half hours, Nachiketa sang more than 15 songs on the stage including Rajshree, Briddhashrom, Icche, Ekdin Jhor Theme Jabe...

Aajob Karkhana organized the event titled 'Nachiketa Live in Dhaka with Joy Shahriar' to celebrate 30 years anniversary of Nachiketa's musical journey. Ashraful Hasan Babu and Kazi Bushra Ahmed Tithi hosted the program.
