Rituparna In Bangladeshi Film Again

Talented film director Rashid Polash bagged three National Film Awards for his first film   “Padmapuran”. This filmmaker has come into the discussion again with the second film “Moyurakkhi”, which was released in theatres on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.

Now, Rashid Polash has added the popular actor of Kolkata Rituparna Sengupta in his new film “Tori”.

“I had a conversation with Rituparna Sengupta. She agreed to work in my film. We will settle the formalities with Rituparna soon”, Rashid Polash said to the media.

The maker also said that some parts of the film have already been took place in Rajshahi. The shooting of the rest is planned to start from September. Rituparna Sengupta will come to Dhaka by September for shooting. Rituparna will be seen playing the role of an extra artiste in the film “Tori”.

Rashid Polash doesn’t want to tell who are playing other roles in the film. He also said that the names of other artistes will be announced soon.

The story of “Tori’ has been written by Ahadur Rahman while Golam Rabbani has written the screenplay and dialogues of the project. The director plans to complete the shooting and dubbing this year.

Rashid Palash’s “Moyurakkhi” was released in multiple theaters in Dhaka on Eid-ul-Azha. The film is currently being screened outside Dhaka. Another film of this director called “Rongbazar” is awaiting release.
