Bollywood Actor Govinda Injured By Accidental Gunshot

Bollywood actor Govinda has been injured by a bullet from his own revolver and has been taken to the hospital.

According to the Indian news agency ANI, the accident happened while the actor was preparing to leave for a shoot at SatSatal. The bullet struck his leg, reportedly from his own revolver. He was quickly rushed to a hospital in Mumbai.

The incident took place around 5 AM. Sources indicate that the actor and Shiv Sena leader was getting ready to leave his home when, while cleaning his gun, a bullet accidentally discharged and hit his knee. Govinda collapsed to the ground in pain, and arrangements were made to transport him to the hospital immediately.

He is currently admitted in the critical care unit of a hospital in Mumbai. Hospital sources report significant blood loss, and doctors are keeping him under observation.
