Actress Nipa Opens Up About Sexual Harassment In Showbiz

Actress Nipa Ahmed Realy made her film debut in 2021 with the movie 'Makeup', directed by Anonno Mamun. Her upcoming film, 'Khoda Hafiz', produced for Eid al-Fitr, is set to be released. In this movie, Ria portrays a very simple character.

She has confirmed that the shooting for the film is completely finished, with only one song left to be shot. Directed by Onik Biswas, the film stars Sanju Jon and newcomer Didar alongside her.

Meanwhile, the glamorous actress has also spoken out about women's experiences of sexual harassment in the entertainment industry. Has she faced anything like this in her career?

In her words, "I have definitely been a victim of sexual harassment. I consider receiving inappropriate proposals to be a form of sexual harassment. If someone crosses a boundary, it is important to speak up so that the person does not behave the same way with anyone else. That is why I support the Me Too movement. We cannot praise enough the courage of those who have spoken out about their experiences."

She added, "I came to act in films and want to do this work with integrity. If someone approaches me for a job with ulterior motives, I will never work with them. Nowadays, it is not only in the entertainment industry but in any field of society that women face sexual harassment. When a girl walks down the street, many men look at her inappropriately. This is also a form of sexual harassment. However, we women try to ignore such things and focus solely on our work."
