A controversial incident nearly nine years ago claimed that Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan had attacked Punjabi singer Honey Singh in a hotel room during an event in the United States. Reports suggested that Shah Rukh hit Honey Singh so hard that the singer suffered a head injury, with blood pouring from his forehead, preventing him from performing on stage.
However, in a recent documentary released on an OTT platform, Honey Singh addressed the long-standing rumors and revealed the truth behind the incident.
Honey clarified, "Shah Rukh Khan would never lay a hand on me. He’s just not that kind of person. Shah Rukh loves me deeply, and we share a brotherly bond. So, the claim that Shah Rukh hit me is completely false."
He further explained, "Actually, I didn’t want to go on stage that day. I felt like I was going to die the moment I stepped out. So, first, I went to my hotel room and shaved my head. Then, I broke a coffee mug over my head. That’s how I got injured."
Honey's sister also supported his statement, recalling that Honey called her after the incident, with blood on his head. "We were all terrified, but there was no fault of Shah Rukh Khan in this matter," she confirmed.
