Kiara, Sidharth Announce Pregnancy

Actress Kiara Advani and actor Sidharth Malhotra have announced that they are expecting their first child.

“The greatest gift of our lives. Coming soon,” Kiara wrote on Instagram, sharing a photo of the couple holding baby socks on Friday (February 28).

The actors have not revealed the due date or further details.

Fans and industry colleagues flooded the actors with congratulatory messages and best wishes. Many also sent their blessings to the couple.

Kiara and Sidharth met while filming Shershaah (2021), a war drama where Sidharth portrayed Captain Vikram Batra and Kiara played his girlfriend, Dimple Cheema. The film, released on Amazon Prime Video, received critical acclaim. Reports suggest the two began dating during the shoot.

Although dating rumours circulated since 2020, Kiara and Sidharth never confirmed their relationship. However, in 2022, filmmaker Karan Johar hinted at it on Koffee With Karan, revealing that Sidharth was dating Kiara.

The couple got married on February 7, 2023, in a traditional Hindu ceremony in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. Their wedding garnered massive media attention, and their photos became India's most-liked Instagram post for a time.
