Test Fees of Private Hospitals to Be Determined

Health Minister Zahid Maleque has said fees of different tests and services of private hospitals, clinics and diagnostic centers of the country will be fixed.   

He made the disclosure on Wednesday in the capital after a meeting on analysis of the services of private hospitals, clinics and diagnostic centers.

Zahid Maleque said the category of private hospitals will be determined. A committee will be formed in this regard.  

He said private medical college hospitals and clinics should take necessary preparations so that they can provide services to the patients of coronavirus in the days to come. They (authorities of private hospitals, clinics) have been asked in this regard.

The quality of healthcare services should be enhanced and the license of hospitals and clinics should be renewed, the health minister added.
