100% Delta Variant Found in Ctg's Covid-Infected Children

In Chattogram, from June to the first week of July, 100 percent of children infected with coronavirus have been detected of the Covid-19 Delta variant. The researchers provided such information after sequencing the genomes of infected children.

This information was found in the genome sequence of samples of 12 children who came and were admitted to Chattogram Maternal and Child Hospital and Chattogram General Hospital. The study included children from newborns to 16-year-old (school-going) infected with Covid-19.

The sequence data from the study were obtained from the Global Initiative on Sharing All Influenza Data, an international database of viruses published in Germany.
