The Covid-19 vaccination program will be closed for four days across the country, including the capital during the Eid-ul-Azha holidays. The three-day Eid holidays (July 20, 21 and 22) announced by the government will start from Tuesday. In addition to this holiday, vaccination will also be closed on Friday.

Dr Md Shamsul Haque, line director (MNC & AH) of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) and member secretary of the Corona Vaccination Program, confirmed the matter.

He said vaccination would be closed for 4 days, including the three-day public holiday of Eid, as well as in Friday. The vaccination program will resume as usual from Saturday.

Meanwhile, the DGHS has set the age limit for vaccination at 30. From now on, anyone over the age of 30 can get the coronavirus vaccine.

Covishield, Moderna, Pfizer and Sinopharm vaccines are currently being administrated in the country. Regular vaccination activities are going on all over the country except Friday (the weekly holiday).
