COVID Cases Show Signs of Slowing, Even as Fatalities Surge Again

In the last 24 hours, Bangladesh has reported 23 coronavirus deaths, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 27,510.

During the same time span, 860 additional cases were reported. With this, the total number of infections stood at 15,55,911 in the country.

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) issued a press release announcing the development on Thursday (September 30).

In addition, 979 Covid-19 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours, increasing the overall number of recoveries to 15,15,941, according to the announcement.
