74 More Hospitalized with Dengue Fever in 24 Hrs

In the 24 hours leading up to Sunday morning, 74 patients with dengue fever were hospitalized to various hospitals in and around the city.

A total of 402 persons have been identified with the mosquito-borne sickness and are receiving treatment at various hospitals as a result of this.

According to the Directorate General of Health Services, 293 of them are being treated in government hospitals, while the remaining 109 are being treated in private facilities.

Since January 1, this year, a total of 27,078 dengue patients have been hospitalized to hospitals across the country, according to the report.

Dengue fever has claimed the lives of 98 people so far, while 26,578 hospitalized patients have recovered.
