Minister Zahid Maleque said that the fourth dose of the coronavirus vaccine
will be given to the people of the country. But he also said that the
60-year-olds will get it first.

Minister Zahid Maleque said these things in an event organized on the occasion
of World AIDS Day at the Osmani Auditorium in the capital on Thursday (December
1).
He
said, we have enough vaccines. We have talked to the Prime Minister about the
fourth dose of vaccination. The technical committee also agreed on vaccination.
Mentioning
that the coronavirus infection is increasing again in several countries
including China, Japan, the health minister said, we have to be careful. We
don't want even one death.
Special
Coronavirus vaccination campaign has started from 1st to 7th December. The
health minister also said that the target of vaccinating 9 million people in
these seven days has been set.
Notably,
98 percent of those over 12 years of age received the first dose and 95 percent
received the second dose. Bangladesh ranks first in South Asia and fifth in the
world in terms of vaccination coverage.
