Emergency Phase of Pandemic 'Over, But Covid Is Not': WHO

The World Health Organization stressed Friday that while it has determined that Covid-19 no longer constitutes a global health emergency, the disease has not gone away, reports AFP.

"We can't let our guard down," Maria Van Kerkhove, the WHO's technical lead on Covid-19, told reporters, insisting that "the crisis phase, the emergency phase is over, but Covid is not".
