Dengue Deaths Rise To 173 In Nov

In the last 24 hours, three people have died from dengue fever across the country, and 675 new dengue patients have been admitted to hospitals.

This month (November), a total of 173 people have died from dengue, the highest in a single month this year. Additionally, 29,652 people have been hospitalized due to dengue in November alone.

The information was provided in a regular press release sent by the Directorate General of Health Services on Saturday evening (November 30).

The release stated that among the 675 new hospital admissions, 312 were from Dhaka City Corporation, and the rest were from outside Dhaka. A total of 598 people have been discharged from hospitals during this period.

So far this year, a total of 91,469 people have been hospitalized with dengue, of whom 87,879 have been discharged. The death toll from dengue stands at 488.
