Application Deadline For Medical Admission Extended

Students applying for the MBBS course for the 2024-25 academic session will have four more days to submit their applications. The application deadline is December 27. The process began on December 10.

In connection with the medical admission test, all coaching centers across the country will remain closed from January 1 to January 17. A notification regarding this will soon be issued by the Ministry.

This information was confirmed by Professor Dr. Rubina Yasmeen, the Member Secretary of the MBBS Admission Test Organizing Committee and Additional Director General (Medical Education) of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

She stated that the decision to close the coaching centers was made at an inter-ministerial meeting. While the inter-ministerial meeting for this year has not yet been held, the MBBS admission committee decided in its meeting that all coaching centers would remain closed from January 1.

Both offline and online coaching centers will remain closed. Professor Dr. Rubina Yasmeen clarified that no online coaching activities will be allowed, and no exams can be held. Any complaints of online coaching will be dealt with according to the law.

It is worth mentioning that the MBBS admission test for the 2024-25 academic session will be held simultaneously across the country on January 17. The BDS admission test is scheduled for February 28.
