Remain United in Fight against Coronavirus: Quader

On Saturday, Awami League Secretary-General Obaidul Quader urged all political, social, cultural, professional and voluntary organizations to stay unified in Bangladesh's fight against coronavirus. 

In the morning, he made a call at a briefing from his home.

Quader said that those who do not maintain social isolation are placing themselves at risk.

He also called for putting up social resistance against those spreading rumors.

The Awami League leader said irregularities would not be tolerated while distributing relief materials.

"Relief has to reach out the needy," Quader said, urging the rich and party members to stand alongside the vulnerable in this moment of crisis.

In the meantime, he said the 28th span of the Padma Bridge has been completed, making 4.2 km of the 6.15 km bridge visible.
